Looks like he is a medic, notice the M-3 slung over his shoulder.

There is a photo I like (but don't have a scan of it) of a Marine with "READING PENNA" writen on his helmet cover... I'm from just outside Reading, PA. So I thought it was cool.

Army_Radioman.jpg

Here is a scan of a Print that I have had in my files for as long as I can remember. I don't know who the individuals are, what unit or where or when this was taken, but this photo has some interesting elements.

I you notice the guy in the front has on jungle fatigues and jungle boots while the guy in the back has on the older sateen fatigue uniform with the black and gold US Army tape still there. He also is wearing the all leather black boots.

That's what I'm thinking.... my 1st thought was a re-anactment picture messed with to look old.

The men in that photo are not re-enactors. I picked this photo and the ones to follow out of a PAO trash can around 1976. The following photos are original color prints and have the original information and captions still glued on the back.

This is the original caption on the back of the print. In case you can't read it clearly here is what it says:

move to and secure a Landing Zone on a mountain top
in the Quang Ngai province, approximately 320 miles
