Martinjmpr Posted January 18, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 18, 2017 I think this is just a demonstration of how "universal" the "Army Field Jacket" design has become. Over the years I've seen a number of jackets made on the M-65 pattern out of a wide variety of colors and patterns including solid colors (black, tan, OD green) and camo patterns (including snow, tiger stripe, 6 color desert, multicolored fashion camo, etc.) Probably the oddest I clearly remember being sold in the "hunting" section of a K-mart in the mid-1980's was a hunter orange M-65. It had every M-65 feature you can think of including the hood in the collar, Velcro cuffs, waist drawstring and even had buttons on the inside for a regulation GI field jacket liner, but the whole thing was blaze orange! There was even a company that made a leather M65.
