otter42 Posted January 16, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted January 16, 2017 I did find this info on another site, that this man was responding to a post back in 2009. Said he served in Chinook's in the late 60's as a Warrant Officer. He signed his post with: Ralph Chappell Geronimo 33 Phu Loi, RVN 68-69 and 70 I think this may be the original owner of the helmet. Thanks for the help, Ken

otter42 Posted January 17, 2017 Author Share #11 Posted January 17, 2017 I found a bio on him on this site, www.huey.co.uk/ralph_chappell.php looks like he was wounded in Vietnam and served 2 tours. And his call sign was Geronimo 33.
