Dylan.L.T92 Posted January 10, 2017 Author Share #14 Posted January 10, 2017 So idk what $100-$200?
doyler Posted January 10, 2017 Share #15 Posted January 10, 2017 Thinking $65-$85 for the condition.Bent guard, rust and oxidation....you could ask $100 but in my area here they are not a fast mover and at times can still find ones for $25-$50. A leather scabbard marked USN or USN BOYT 43 will draw intrest and have seen just the leather scabbard on line sell for as much as a knife will at times. Dylan.L.T92 Posted January 10, 2017 Author Share #16 Posted January 10, 2017 The blade isn't bent, and the only rust on the knife is on the finger guard and the set pin for the handle. It's also marked usn on the finger guard.
beerdragon54 Posted January 10, 2017 Share #17 Posted January 10, 2017 $75 sounds right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
doyler Posted January 10, 2017 Share #18 Posted January 10, 2017 The blade finnish is nice I reffered to the cross guard(finger guard) being bent ....it should be straight not wavy or " ~ " Sometimes these were bent to tighten the handle washers or just a personal thing the owner did...not always vet done as a lot of these were sold surplus and used after the war too. Blacksmith Posted January 10, 2017 Share #19 Posted January 10, 2017 I have one with a nicer scabbard that I've been unable to get second looks at, priced at $80.
