Kabar Scabbard

I want to replace a broken snap on a kabar scabbard. I think these are called Segma or glove snaps. Online I have found "Dot" snaps which are close in dimension but not an exact replacement.

Can someone help me source a Replacement?

Respectfully,

Steve

I haven't had any luck finding the "Segma" type snaps in that larger size. Maybe someone here can help and we both may benefit.

The middle sheath is using a "Segma" type snap.

You may have to settle for switching to the United Carr/DOT type snap. I haven't come up with any of the large Segma type snaps from either brick and mortar stores or on line searching. The potentially good news is that you will find various WW2 sheaths for the 1219C2 knives that used either style snap. Not sure if any specific manufactures used both during their production or not. Certainly does appear that specific kinds of sheaths were made with one or the other, but it's not like I've tried to make an exhaustive study on the subject. Does appear that the use of the large type Segma snaps starts to go away not long after WW2. I haven't seen them employed on examples of the last 50 years or so. Old hardware is hard to match up as manufacturing moves forward.
