wartimecollectables.com Posted January 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2017 I've had many named '02's and a few presentation models from the pre-WWII era. Honestly didn't realize they still made these in the Vietnam era! This is a beautiful E.F. Horster Germany made gilded presentation grade sword name on the etched blade. Looked the guy up and he was West Point class of 1974. Neat sword!
KurtA Posted January 5, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2017 Wow. I didn't realize either that they still made such elaborate swords so recently. Really nice.
6th.MG.BN Posted January 5, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2017 Ditto. These are always nice looking and mostly pre-WW2

Spathologist Posted January 6, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 6, 2017 Not nice like that. The last place I know of was the Ames Sword Company that went out of business a few years ago.
