Steve are your sure they are exact?

I thought the Thunderbird field insignia is just a circle below the bird, Scotty's look like a ships wheel.

I am looking bob through other threads. I know there is a nice metal version with the pyramid styple bars. My first thought was that those were engine pistons.

Chinese rank insignia. I am sure Chinese pilot training took place at that school. Some of that other insignia in the ocsfollowme image is Chinese.

ATB is most likely correct. I am 95% certain that this rank was used at the Thunderbird. I am not sure if US or Chinese wore it.

I picked up several pillow cases and a burlap sack filled with patches from an Army vet that served in China. These were on it. Rank is for Major General and the cap device (upside down) is for chinese pilot.
