I couldn't find anything on Black Point Reservation, do you have any information? All I could find were reservations for a black point restaurant. Thanks, firefighter! I believe it is near to San Francisco in Sonoma County, California. The only reference I've found on it is this one citing an 1868 newspaper: https://cdnc.ucr.edu/cgi-bin/cdnc?a=d&d=DAC18680409.2.4 Naturally, the badge I have dates to much later. It also appears at some point to have had the numbers and letters repainted and then the badge sealed with some kind of clear lacquer.
