robinb Posted December 31, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2016 Thought I'd share a couple of my odd ball MIL-k knives. First a smooth handle Kingston with darkened blades.
robinb Posted December 31, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted December 31, 2016 Next is a Kingston that's acid etched on the blade along with the letters US.
Misfit 45 Posted December 31, 2016 Share #3 Posted December 31, 2016 I'm especially impressed with the smooth handled Kingston. Great find. The markings on the blade of the acid etch knife are really amazing. Thanks for showing these. Marv No screwdriver stud on either of these knives. Charlie Flick Posted December 31, 2016 Share #4 Posted December 31, 2016 Very cool, Robin. That etched blade marking is a first for me on the Kingston. Charlie

thorin6 Posted January 1, 2017 Share #9 Posted January 1, 2017 robinb, I think what is interesting is that all of these are in the early (1944?) configuration, but your smooth handled knife is dated 1945.
bobcat87 Posted January 4, 2017 Share #10 Posted January 4, 2017 Is the smooth handled US 45 some type of experimental knife?
