dskjl Posted December 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 27, 2016 Christmas morning Clifford White WWII Army veteran stationed in various locations through out the Pacific, past away as the result of an infection his weekend 93 year old body just couldn't fight. Clifford was great grandpa to my Son, and shining example of our greatest generation. After the war he took up contracting buying small homes, fixing them up while he lived in them and then selling them to get the next, all the while building up a nest egg for later. He built much of Wrangle Alaska, there was hardly a piece of concrete in town he didn't have a hand in poring. He was a hard working soft spoken giant of man (size 15 shoes) who always smiled and spent most of his time listening rather than talking. He could build or fix about anything, and often did just that. He gave advise if asked, expected nothing in return and although had strong opinions about some matters, never imposed them on others. He was loved and will be missed.
