Removing Patch glued to wood

Recommended Posts

If it is Elmers glue they should peel right off with out to much of a problem.If it is wood glue or book binding glue I start at one of the sharp corners and use both thumbs and try to roll the patch like you would a carpet.If that does not work as a last resort I have used a sharp putty knife to literally scrape them off the wood.You are lucky it is beret flashes and not a 600.00 dollar SSI.Scotty

I have three pricey patches that I do not plan on removing.

Here is an Airship piece that I posted on the Forum a few years back.It's stuck on the wood quite firmly,so it's staying there :D
