I have what I think is a vietnam era jungle hammock, but was told it may be ww2, so im not sure. It has a double layer cotton bottom with nylon screen and a rubber coated canopy. On the bottom it has two straps that are for rifle storage, or so im told. I'm wondering if it is vietnam or ww2 and how much it might be worth. It is in very good condition and named, with some repairs.

not able to post pics, it keeps saying they are to big

Obviously without photos one is guessing. Having said that, the description, other than the rifle straps, sounds like the USGI WW2 jungle hammock I purchased in new condition at the surplus store as a kid.

The label on it says hammock jungle complete and give s instructions on setup but other than the US marking on the inside head end there sent any other markings or labels

There should be a dated spec tag in the small pocket inside the Hammock.
