Lawrence Colburn passed away today. Hugh Thompson (pilot), Glenn Andreotta (crew chief) and Colburn (door gunner) stopped the My Lai massacre in Vietnam in 1968. In 1998 he was awaded the Soldier's Medal (as were the other two) for his actions that day.

RIP Mr. Colburn
