WWII Legacy Girl Posted December 13, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 13, 2016 I had the privilege to meet and interview WWII 36th ID Combat Medic and German POW William Howland a couple years ago. We have become very good friends since and the other day, I took him to the local Marine Recruiting Center where he was allowed to share his story and was treated like a king by the Marines (I'll post pictures of that event in a second post. Here is a brief video I put together from his interview - there was much more, but this is what I have put into video so far.
WWII Legacy Girl Posted December 13, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted December 13, 2016 Here are the pictures from Mr. Howland speaking at RSS Aurora - the Marine Recruiting Office on Saturday, Dec 10th. It was too hard to upload them on the forum so here is the link - https://postimg.org/gallery/2z6yc3heo/
