The Rooster Posted March 4, 2019 Share #7 Posted March 4, 2019 I wonder if the group could help me out with this question? Every other Dodge wing I've seen including the one at the top of this post , has no line dot line between Dodge Inc. and Chicago. The one I posted does. Any clues as to why? Do I have a fake here? Or just a variation of the hallmark? Thank you.
pfrost Posted March 4, 2019 Share #8 Posted March 4, 2019 I suspect it is just a variation in the hallmark
The Rooster Posted March 9, 2019 Share #9 Posted March 9, 2019 I just picked up this exact same wing by an unknown maker. It seems to have a serial number on the back. looks to me like 2066969 Can anyone tell me what these wings were used for? Shirt collar wings or what? Thank you! The Rooster Posted March 10, 2019 Share #10 Posted March 10, 2019 I asked AZNATION if he would be so kind to run the number on this wing. As it turns out , the number is a patent number for the type of catch used on this wing and not a service number! Thank you AZNATION.
