sigsaye Posted December 8, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 8, 2016 Hi show about old SSBN-629 back stencil and have number 29 on right chest . Please comment for more information. . The number 29 is just the jacket number applied on the ship to keep track of it. I never liked these jackets. They were always stiff and bulky. Not a comfortable jacket. Salvage Sailor Posted December 12, 2016 Share #4 Posted December 12, 2016 . The number 29 is just the jacket number applied on the ship to keep track of it. I never liked these jackets. They were always stiff and bulky. Not a comfortable jacket. Aye Steve, Noisy too when the synthetic outer fabric rubbed together, not exactly comfortable nor stealthy. (they were heavy also with the liner snapped in)
