Bodes Posted December 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2016 Forum members, While scrounging yesterday I came across a vintage pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in a second hand store.....The cost was a whopping one hundred pennies and the clerk behind the counter told me she had just put them out for sale...... Now I want to determine how old they are.....They are marked 10K GF (gold filled) in two places on the bar above the nose and inside both bows.... Were the 10K frames only made post WW2?......Were early RB's of the 30's and 40's only made in 12K GF?.....Were the ones with the flexible (shooter's) bow ends only found on post war ones?...Any thoughts appreciated as usual......Bodes

Bodes Posted December 4, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted December 4, 2016 Yeah, I googled Ray Ban and saw the site you posted....Unfortunately they don't break down time lines on the specific features I listed.....Bodes
