Printed on a stiff post card type paper. The writing on the back is done in fountain pen. Wallace Kidder,1st Ranger Btn,, "C" Co.1st platoon, 2nd Section, he was 2nd Scout and friend of my father who was a rifleman in the same section. Wallace E. Kidder gave the following information at enlistment, 9 Oct. 1942, service for the duration of the war, plus six months, education, 4 years of high school, occupation was forestry, he was married, height 5’8”, weight 129. His brother William was 2 years younger and served in the navy for 21 years and died in 2009. Williams son now lives in Carson City NV. I plan to get in touch with him and see if he is interested in a copy of the picture of the uncle he never knew. What I am really interested in is information on the type of card itself.
