Chris Posted November 21, 2016 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2016 This pin came with some other (WWI) militaria from an estate. The man I got it from said this pin was a family item, but was not found with the WWI items. I am just curious what folks think. It measures 3/4" - height and width. It seems to have a worn silver frost finish. Just curious to get some expert, objective thoughts. Thanks!
vintageproductions Posted November 21, 2016 Share #2 Posted November 21, 2016 To me it looks like a Medical Corps related piece of insignia
Chris Posted November 21, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted November 21, 2016 Thanks for the reply. I think that's a better bet. I just wanted to throw it out there just in case. I appreciate you taking the time.
USCapturephotos Posted December 6, 2016 Share #4 Posted December 6, 2016 Yeah it is too thick and the attachment device is different than Civil War era pins or even veterans corps badges made for reunions after the war. Paul
