Ka-Bar Question

I'd like to pick up a USMC marked Ka-Bar but don't know much about them yet. Part of my approach is to observe eBay auctions to see what goes and for how much. This one (https://www.ebay.com/itm/152315743824) received no bids ... so what is it about this that says stay away? Thanks

It is a contemporary Kabar not a WWII example. It's over priced at that amount for its condition.

for one think the it is a knock off. it is a modern copy. the opriginal issue sheaths never had the EGA stamped in it, that is totaly commercial.
