Those tiger shirts can be cold at night in the park.............. when you are drunk and sleeping on a park bench.

why not cheer them up with a liner ?

Hahaha! So true, the liner throws me for a loop. Maybe an after war modification. Hopefully no one is sleeping on a park bench in this beauty.

Looks like a poncho liner. When I was stationed in Germany the local tailor shop would cut up and sew a poncho liner into a cold weather (waterproof) jacket for about $30. I had one, the only drawback is that once the poncho liner was in there, there was no way to really launder it. Eventually the plastic-lined jacket just disintegrated and I tossed it. By then I had a Gore-tex anyway.
