131st Coastal Artillery/AAA Gn. Battalion Guidon, Battery A

Another guidon that I picked up some time back. The unit was formed in May 1943 in Texas as a coastal artillery group. This was obviously an outdated idea, so the unit became a AAA battalion about a month later. They shipped overseas in July 1944 and ended up in France in August 1944, attached to the 9th Army, going across Europe until the war ended. I believe that they were equipped with 90mm guns. The flag has attached to it some sort of anniversary/reunion buttons.
