D-Day USN V-Mail.... unused "form" to submit to papers back home

Anybody seen one of these before?

Thought it was cool.. probably most got filled out and sent home.

This guy thought it was no big deal.

 

He was a Seabee with the 111th and landed on Omaha Beach, Normandy.

 

I will post the rest of the group but just wanted to share this USN V-mail in the appropriate section.

I got a case of blank V-Mails from a guy who was an Army medic in WWII. No idea why he had them but, guessing there are about 400 blank sheets. I've had them sitting in a tote for years since I'm not really sure what to do with them. :(
