Hey everyone. I just finished getting these two uniforms back into my display since the WW1 uniform didn't have a mannequin at first plus it was missing the EGAs and the WW2 uniform had the wrong EGAs and needed a good dusting. I also printed out every piece of info I could find on both marines thanks to a days worth of compiling records on ancestry. Both I've posted about before but for anyone who hasn't seen them the WW2 uniform belongs to 2nd Lt Robert L Bauer who served with the 3rd Marine Division on Guam and Iwo Jima and received a Purple Heart for being WIA on Guam and the WW1 uniform belongs to Pfc Harold M Baer who enlisted in 1924 but had an interesting service being first attached to the USS New Mexico, where he journeyed to Haiti and to Guantanamo Bay for a time. Later he was assigned to a post in Shanghai China in 1928 where he served under then 2nd Lt Lewis B "Chesty" Puller before Chesty became the legend we all know him as. These two uniforms are going to be a big hit at my local military show in a couple of weeks but I have a few great named usmc uniforms (some with gear, one is a named gear grouping from the Korean War era, and one is a decent size Vietnam grouping named to my dad) alongside a few VC/NVA bring backs which I bought from several marines over the years. Once the show is in town I'll get a picture up of all of my display there and let you all have a great look at it.

Thanks SgtMaddox. It's been exciting getting these items ready for my military show display and getting all of the information I could about them printed out. All that's left now is to make the information signs about each individual uniform/grouping and then I should be ready.
