The scabbard has all the features of a typical M6 scabbard, but instead of being around 14" long, it's around 11" long. The scabbard is unmarked. The rivets down each side and on the metal plate are identical to those on M6's produced by Barwood. There are no obvious signs of it being cut-down from an original length. The scabbard is not long enough to allow a M3 knife to go in all the way. It has significant wear to imply it's old and perhaps WWII period. Any ideas on what knife it was designed to carry?
