Flashlarue Posted September 7, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2016 To start with I know this is a stupid question. Was each ship's camo unique like a fingerprint? Can a ship be identified solely by its como pattern? I have a photo with what I believe is a light destroyer with only to front section visible in the background. Would this be enough to identify the ship if it is a known pattern?
29navy Posted September 8, 2016 Share #2 Posted September 8, 2016 While they all followed a given pattern, since they were manually painted, there were variations. All you have to do is to find a decent picture of a (the) ship with the camo/pattern and start comparing.
