The 1st Cavalry Divsion left the States with the 16th Cavalry QM Sqn still as a horse and mule unit,in addition they had the 99th FA(mule pack) attached. I am working on a project to save the 1940 period stables and building at the Fort Ord Equestrian Center. I am trying to find out what Veterinary Corps Units that were stationed there with the 11th Cavalry, 76th Field Artillery and the other horse mounted units stationed there.
