If it was Bugs Bunny it would be a Schlesenger/Warner Bros. creation, not Disney.
In my humble opinion this particular example looks like another wartime example of a 'borrowed' copyrighted image.

I don't see anything wrong with your post, just in the source of the image creator.
Attached is an edition of a San Angelo AAFld graduating class album that appears to be c.1942.
(Sorry about the poor image quality).
