doyler Posted August 5, 2016 Share #8 Posted August 5, 2016 THe Korean ones were heavily ground and reshaped from existing bayonets as I understand it and re-parkerized with a thick finnish.The ones I had were a light grey color and even seen some where the meal was pretty pitted and parked over. SKIPH Posted August 5, 2016 Share #9 Posted August 5, 2016 I fully concur with Ron, and Gary. These came out of Korea, I bought 3-4 of these years ago for $7 apiece in the wrapper. A few years later I bought the metal covered, cut down scabbards for $5 each. They were ground down like butter knives. All markings removed. But, I do have one with the 1918 date intact.
