WAHOOMAN Posted July 17, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2016 I recently picked up these bullion US Army 1st LT shoulder boards. I believe the blue would indicate infantry. The insignia came in a box marked Cadet Store , West Point New York. The name on the box is Capt. Thomlinson. Could someone tell me the time period of the insignia? firefighter Posted August 3, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 3, 2016 I think your boards belonged to THOMLINSON, Matthew Henry. He graduated from West Point in 1904.He fought in the Expedition Against the Moro's, 1904-05.He retired in 1940, disabled, as a COL.
