Came across this guy in a Mil Surp vehicle yard..TNJ Murray...he has a few of these in much better and running condition...but I like the rusty crusty stuff...

Hi Pantomfixer, take a look at this Wikipedia article about a British inventor Geoffrey Pyke who was instrumental in helping to design the Weasel, it also explains other ideas he had for helping the war effort in WWII?

Tom Murray in New Jersey one time had a huge inventory of Weasels and parts for them, he might still have too. I remember that he was selling the engines to Studebaker car enthusiasts. Nice to see he still has some and the "Water Weasel" M-29C is a pretty rare bird

Tom is John's father? I am pretty sure the Grandfather started the business back in the 40's moving airplanes for the AAC, during the war....met Tom a few times...heck of a nice guy...if the same Murray...did not know they had a place in Jersey too..

Sorry mis-typed, they've been in Delaware as long as I've known of them. They also did M-151 parts and others. Great and very well know in the MV community

Yes they are...Tom was very helpful to our group...John has been a awesome...back field still turns up old CJ and MB parts...and still tons of 151 parts etc...
