Mr.Jerry Posted June 26, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2016 PIcked this up today and was just tickled to find it! The family may have more and the Veteran is still alive so I may get to meet him!

Jayhawker353 Posted June 26, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 26, 2016 Very neat. So he is an original member of the 442nd? I wouldn't expect to run across him in Wisconsin.

P-40Warhawk Posted July 22, 2016 Share #18 Posted July 22, 2016 That would really be a real honor to meet a 442nd vet! Amazing history in that grouping, and great it is all together.
Garandomatic Posted July 22, 2016 Share #19 Posted July 22, 2016 Ditto. I Have always had so much respect for those guys to have taken what they did and still fight like tigers. Daniel Inouye's story, I think it was, on The War is truly inspirational. When those men learned that FDR had died, they spontaneously charged the Germans, uphill, to do it one more time "for the old man" despite the fact that for the mainland Japanese-Americans, their families were locked up. If I ever did see one, you can bet he wouldn't have to pay for his lunch that day!
