Remberti Posted June 13, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2016 Hi there, thanks to the mod/admin for activating my account. I wanted to ask you guys if you could help me find out which manufacturer in which country (even country would be enough) made my Enfield 1856/58 sword bayonet. It's the type that locks onto the barrel not onto the front barrel band. It has black leather grips and is the later type where the spring is held in place by a screw, not a rivet. Here are some pics: The symbol on the blade doesn't look like a crown at all. More like an airship or something. On one side of the cross guard you see a "C.B". On the backside of the pommel you will find "47" I guess and inside an "F.H 15". The number 15 is also on the spring and the locking nut. There are no other markings on the grip.
