Here's the kick off of this topic I decided to start, hopefully it wont take me too long to finish, I might get lazy and not do it for a couple of days or more . To go though the entire list of these Triple CIB recipients and see just how much info I could find on them, and post it in one topic. As you'll see I was able to find quite a few, but a lot of them where there were little or no info at all. A great deal of them were only Find A Graves as these men as you'll guess are practically all gone now.

I was able to find a few photos from my collection of unit yearbooks and Army periodical of the 1960s as well which was a boon.

IMPORTANT: I would ask members NOT to add anything as I go along in posting what I complied, after all that, members are most welcome to add anything they wish. I say this as members might be posting info that I intend to post, thus jumping the gun on me, and blowing the chronology.

I would add finally that while this topic deals exclusively with the Army Infantryman who fought in three wars, we must not forget the other Soldiers of the Army from the other Branches that did, like your Tankers, Reconnaissance Cavalrymen, Artillery, your Combat Engineers, etc etc, Plus the other Branches, Marines in particular who seen ground combat action in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, Airman, and Sailors of course, these all deserve mention and commemoration.
