I found this Claymore Mine Bag at a thrift store today for a couple of dollars. I have never seen one with a white instruction sheet or with Velcro closures. The bag is also much thicker then the ones that I have handled with the green sheet. I looked on ebay and even watched You Tube to see if it was a modern bag and I did not see any with a white sheet. My question, is this in fact a new recent bag?

The older ones are cotton, your looks to be nylon. Are there any numbers in the bottom corner of the instruction sheet that may give a date of the document or a revised date or some other clue.

The bag is made of Nylon and there is nothing to indicate a date on the bag. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

The last specifications for the cotton version of the BANDOLEER, APERS, MINE, M7, ASSEMBLY (FSN 1345-828-2927) were revised on 1 June 1973 (MIL-DTL-45417, Revision C).

The specifications, MIL-DTL-45417, were revised recently (on 31 January 2014 - Revision D), but it does not state what material or closure devices are to be utilized in its construction. I believe you have the "newest" version of the M7 bandoleer (aka "Claymore mine bag").

Raising this from the dead. I think that revision was to change the instruction sheet showing the non-electrical firing system that is used. That being said, has anyone seen a surplus M-7 bandoleer with that type of instruction sheet? Id love to buy one of those for the collection since I have one of the earlier style with the electrical firing system instructions. Ive only seen the new one in the 2013 dated TC/FM.
