Hello,

Would you guys mind interpreting this one also?

It is nicely ID'd to a local enlistee noted in NARA as Branch immaterial - Warrant Officer Private in December 42.

BILL THE PATCH

I like it, seems to match up, cannot tell what the ribbon is looks like, eto ribbon with looks like 4 stars nice!.Oise tab is probably French made. Should have more ribbons also. Maybe you can still get them if it's a local find. Nice Ike.

Thanks guys,

Part of a huge local collection I obtained recently. I'm sure it was picked long ago :(

Aside from the nicely penned last name and serial unfortunately nothing else in the pockets.

Appreciate the thoughts

Is there an arrowhead on the ribbon? Definitely worthy of some further research, as with the Amphib patch he could have been in the Normandy or Southern France invasions.

Hello,

Yes - 4 stars and an arrowhead. Would the first stop be a NARA request with basic details?
