muddyboots Posted May 11, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2016 I picked this one up the other day when I checked the seller who I my CPHM1/c tag and I seen he had another tag with the same last name. His find-a-grave says he was a pilot during WW2 but I can't seem to find anything other than that. Any help would be great.
hardheaded Posted May 12, 2016 Share #2 Posted May 12, 2016 If you think he's the guy on find a grave, here's a guy that was in the (Reserve Corp) Air Corp as a Private in 1942 and from AR. As far as the serial number on your dog tag, ???aad.archives.gov MC#KENZIE#DELMAR#D###### (serial # 18167561)rollerfuneralhomes.com/services.asp?locid=6&page=odetail&id=10634

The seller said both tags were purchased from a local estate in Conway. The only problem I have is John the brother doesn't appear in the obituary of Delmar. Maybe the seller assumed they were brothers and maybe they were cousins.
muddyboots Posted May 12, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted May 12, 2016 After looking at the file that very well could be him as a enlisted man and the tag I got is his commissioned officer tag,

muddyboots Posted July 15, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted July 15, 2016 I was lucky to get another tag but had the misfortune of missing his bombardier school year book (Bombs Away 4-44 from Midland Texas) I did however get the seller to photograph the book for me. 5thwingmarty Posted July 16, 2016 Share #9 Posted July 16, 2016 I picked up the book on ebay. It will be getting fully scanned and will eventually be posted on the aafcollection website with my other bombardier class books.

The pictures I got are mainly of the parts of the book with signatures. But it would be greatly appreciated if I could get a full scan to keep with the tags to keep the history with them.
