Hope you like it! In following order: - 5th army set - 90th inf. div. set. - 101st 501PIR AB 3rd battalion. So first, an 5th army helmet set. I purchased it in europe, but later found out it was in the "sold" section of M1-helmet-depot. I don't know at what price it was sold, I probably paid a little more. BOLO Posted April 30, 2016 Share #16 Posted April 30, 2016 those are nice finds, the last one has the dark green gloss paint often seen on Korean War era used helmets, but I guess they would have also used a dark green gloss vehicle paint during WW2 for depot repaints. Actually I like the dark OD green on the 101st Helmet and seeing several named / ID'd and confirmed ones in Bando's collection, they seem to have that same color!! Troy Exactly my thoughts, I read somewhere that the 501st typically repainted their helmets in this shade or slightly gloss green.
