She was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War era, she was stationed at Naval Hospitals in Chelsea; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and Jacksonville, Florida. May Belle (Prater) Wilder served as an Aerographer's Mate 1st Class (AG1) and retired from the the Navy. It is part of a mounted group of four medals.
