Ronnie Posted April 11, 2016 Author Share #27 Posted April 11, 2016 Here's an update. Started building a small warehouse. One photo shows a sailor for scale. Also one photo shows two stairs. The first one was bad funky and I could not accept it. So I built another and I think it came out a bit better.

Ronnie Posted April 12, 2016 Author Share #31 Posted April 12, 2016 Ok I've built the door to the building but I can't decide if I want it closed or open. I've photographed it both ways. To the left of the door will be a window as well as all the way across the top front. Thanks. Ronnie

Ronnie Posted April 13, 2016 Author Share #37 Posted April 13, 2016 Thanks Ron. Ok I added my wire to simulate a glass window but it could also be wire fencing to help keep sailors who needed something from supply and wanted to acquire it by midnight requisition out. Actually that would be much more practical since this is simulating a base in the South Pacific. I also have cleaned all my cardboard and painted it silver. I have added the tin to the front overhang and one side and part of the rear of the building. Hope you like it. Thanks. Ronnie

The Meatcan Posted April 13, 2016 Share #40 Posted April 13, 2016 Your tin finish looks great! Seems like just the right amount of weathering. Terry
Ronnie Posted April 13, 2016 Author Share #41 Posted April 13, 2016 Terry the weathering was just luck. It is a result of cleaning the cardboard. It is not easy getting the cardboard separated and thus the weathered look. I'm a rookie at this and have no idea how to weather stuff. But thanks for the comments.
