kai robert Posted March 31, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2016 I have a couple of sharpshooter badges but only one that is domed. No marking at all. What is it?, theater made? From a ww2 82nd Ike jacket with theater made ribbon rack and a bevo patch. / Kai Robert

But it is called hand vaulting, it was a practice commonly done by wermacht soldiers on there badges and I'm sure some us soldier tried it also! He was a POW in Germany and was shipped home in juni-45 and it looks like his Ike jacket was set up i Germany. I Googled hand vaulted badges and found many german but no US badge so far.
