NBA player pays tribute to fan and WWII Iwo Jima vet who just died.

The Marine in this feature was Malcolm Keep. Sadly he passed away this week. Malcolm was forever captured in a famous photo from Iwo Jima assisting a gravely wounded comrade. The attached photo show's Mr. Keep assisting a wounded comrade on Iwo. God speed Mr. Keep and Semper Fi.

Frank - thank you for posting this, as I would have otherwise not come across it.

 

For all of the nonsense and poor representation coming out of the NBA, this is a very good story.

 

I thought this was interesting and I wasn't sure what forum to post it in.
