WWII USN 1944 era VF-29 Shillelaghs patch image + size needed

I am in need of an image and size of the WWII December 1944 era (preferred) USN fighter squadron

VF-29 Shillelaghs patch. The squadron was aboard the USS Cabot and flew the F6F-3, -5 Hellcat at

this time. I am familiar with the two 1943 images on bluejacket.com . Any help would be appreciated.

I think that it is what you looking for but sorry can't say what the size is. See one example sold on ebay last year.

Here's one I have it is WW2 era looks to be same size as other posted above . sorry I have no idea of it's size ......

One just sold on EBay for $70 and was listed as 4x4.5 inches, but the edges were missing due to moth damage. Vintage Productions has one in better shape, so maybe Mr. Chatt can answer your question. Jeffro

My WWII issue, embroidered on felt, is 11mm wide x 12mm high.

Are you sure about the dimensions?That seems rather small.

 

 

11 millimeters = 0.433 inch

 

12 millimeters = 0.472 inch

Haven't been on since my post, above. Sorry for the typo, it is 11cm x 12cm (not mm).
