AustinO Posted February 24, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 24, 2016 There is a MACR for aircraft 41-29140. Germans reported downed by a fighter on May 25th 1944. Corley was the bombardier and was captured wounded, hospitalized in Brussels. Germans reported 5 KIA 4 captured. (Though the actual MACR report shows the crew returned to duty?) 705th Bomb Squadron, 446th Bomb Group.
