Labor Service: If you come across these...

If you come across these, you might not immediately recognize them as being US Army related. However, the pins shown below are all from the Labor Service. Thought it might be interesting for those who haven't seen them yet. There's actually quite a variety of Labor Service insignia and pins out there.

 

First, an Estonian collar insignia.

I had an old insignia I bought YEARS ago.It's typical Post-war German made pot metal type.For the longest time I had no idea what it was.Then I cam across it in an old Trading Post, someone ID'd it as POLISH UNDERGROUND. A few years back I was searching for something else and came across the correct ID, Polish Salamander Brigade, a Post-War LS unit.

Here are three Labor Service patches that I have.  The last one I've seen listed as a Labor Service patch but no ID and it looks like it was made in SVN base on its construction.  Comments?
