MilRGRHistory Posted February 10, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2016 I oversaw the framing of these items on permanent loan from CSM Gentry's son. While these are only a few of the items donated, these photos include CSM Gentry's uniform shirt and beret, Ranger School honor grad guidon and 1974 1st Battalion, 75th Infantry (Ranger) yearbook. CSM Gentry filled the role of CSM almost immediately after serving as 1SG, Company L (Ranger), 75th Infantry. *he also wrote the Ranger Creed

MWalsh Posted February 13, 2016 Share #7 Posted February 13, 2016 He must have had an amazing career... Not often at all that you see someone with a CIB and what I assume are aircrew wings, as well as jump wings, AND the Ranger training. The aircrew wings are the odd ones. A tour as a door gunner in Vietnam at some point in his career I assume?
