Same variant, but in felt..... The felt versions are seen somewhat frequently.... But are less common than the 'normal' version

And, it has now been proven the fully-embroidered (FE) version shown above is actually the normal, common patch that was photographed in a mirror - giving the appearance of having reversed colors. Don't ask me why anyone would intentionally photograph in such a manner......

Hahaa,now that's an unusual variation;can only be seen in mirrors :lol:

And another example of a fully embroidered 3rd Marine Division (3MARDIV) shoulder patch with the yellow & black reversed. This one was still sewn to the sleeve fabric of a badly damaged tunic. Reverse side shows classic WW2-era white bobbin threads.
