Who made this knife?

I just picked up this neat named knife, the blade was made out of a Cavalry sword, apparently I only took a pic of the handle of mine (d'oh). but I did find a similar one on ebay to show what I a talking about, although theirs uses a Patton saber blade, mine looks like a CW cav blade.

Those are usually attributed to San Antonio Iron Works. They normally come with a Patton blade.

Looks like a tip section of the Patton sabre.

 

As I undestand the swords were sectioned into three pieces.The handle,middle and tip.

The photo was a screenshot from ebay. that was definatly a Patton sword. Here is mine- look smore like a CW cavalry saber.
