TALLYHO Posted December 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2015 I don`t really know if this would be classified as trench art but I thought I would post it hear. This is the whistle that belonged to Lt. E.T. Loucks. Patterned after the British Hudson whistle it was made by Horstmann of Philadelphia and was engraved chronicling his military career. It reads as follows: LT. E.T.Loucks Co.A 68th INF. EL PASO Co.E 68th INF. FRANCE CAPT. E.T. Loucks Co.L 12th INF. FORT WASH. Co.E 31st INF. ludwigh1980 Posted December 28, 2015 Share #3 Posted December 28, 2015 Fantastic piece. Glad this officer has the time and forethought to have his whistle engraved with its history. A piece that was there. Thank you for sharing, Terry
