Visor Cap

_{I recently acquired this visor cap. When I originally purchased it I thought that it might be Merchant Marine (The seller described it as a US Navy Officer). But once received, I knew it was not Merchant Marine, then I thought it might be Army Transport Command, but no that's a different cap badge than this one. Someone mentioned that it might be War Shipping Administration but looking for someone to confirm that or identify if not WSA. Many thanks.}

Many thanks! Looks like you nailed it with the USSB id. Apparently a pretty scarce bird. It was described as WWII but the cap looked older than that to me. Thanks again.

Nice hat/badge, but keep in mind that $345 asking price on the FlyingTigers site doesn't accurately reflect its true value. Figure on about about 25% of that for you hat .

Is there a name in it? The U.S. Shipping Board was created prior to WWI. If you google it you will get a fair amount on information.

Even at 50% thats not a cheap hat, and thats just for the badge.
